Sulawasi Shells (1200-0429)
by Currey
The Sulawasi Shells decorative accessory is handmade of stoneware by women artisans living at the border of Burma and Thailand. It is an art to be able to interpret rare corals that can be found along the coasts of far off paradises, in this case the Sulawesi Island near Java. The artisans who created this white decorative sculpture with its antiqued white surface see them in their native environments and bring them to us through their art.
